A great set of drawings of MICKEY MOUSE and his Elephant! These early ones are quite rare. It is from Walt Disney's Mickey's Mickey's Elephant from 1936. It was directed by David Hand and Hamilton Luske. Legendary animator Frank Thomas, one of the Nine Old Men worked on it! AND this was way back when Walt Disney Himself still voiced Mickey!

Each sheet is 5-peghole animation paper and both are toned warm yellow with age. Elephant drawing has some crinkling to the left of him that doesn't affect the drawing. They are from around the 1:13 mark (depending on the version) - we grabbed a screen cap from the section (see above). Paper measures 10" x 12". Both have light paperclip marks on the top edge that are hidden when matted.

We will mount this gorgeous piece of art in an acid-free, 4-ply paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so you can just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. We only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork. NOTE: in most cases we have not yet mounted the art in a mat, so if you wish to have us leave it unmounted let us know IMMEDIATELY when you make the purchase, as we will often mat it within minutes.
